Jack has grown up around a golf course from the beginning. His father, Scott Robbins, has been a longtime Superintendent of 30+ years at Ptarmigan Country Club in Windsor, Colorado. One of Jack’s has two brothers is the Assistant Superintendent at TPC Colorado. As a child, Jack always enjoyed his time spent on the golf course. Starting out playing golf from a young age and eventually moved onto his dad’s payroll once he was of age. The desire to be on a golf course has never left Jack and he has continued working in golf every season since.
Jack is very passionate about golf course management and knows the quality of golf course he and his crew can provide. Jack strives to keep consistent playability as well as an aesthetically pleasing property while here at Pinehurst Country Club.
Jack received his Bachelors of Science degree in Turfgrass Management from Colorado State University. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendents Association as well as the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. Jack lives nearby the club with easy access to mountains allowing him to continue enjoying the outdoors on his days off. Jack continues to visit his family and friends in Northern Colorado whenever possible.
